Iracing to be on Paypal Next Season!

It’s really great that Iracing will be using Paypal, I use it so much for everything else like ebay auctons, which saves me having to worry about giving too many Financial details out to websites.

Iracing Stats website.

Found this program called “Greasemonkey”

http://www.irstats.com/members/index.php

What it does is everytime you open you stats page and look at Practice/race/qualifying/tt results, it captures the stats of that session and puts it on irstats website members section!
Awesome little program!, displays race graphs for SR, irating all sorts of little things.

Im not quite sure how it will capture rest of my race history.

Practice session in the Riley DP @ Silverstone

Since I was now over 4SR in roads, I could try out the Riley DP again, but this time it was at Silverstone.

Started some practice sessions and started doing 1:50s which is about 10secs off aliens and about 8secs off decent drivers.

So I set about getting some decent setups, as the defaults were just rubbish lol.

Downloaded A Shawn Purdy setup and straight away i was doing 1:46s, it felt so much better!

My personal best so far is 1:45.811

Best practice and race ever in Chevy Silverado’s

Did some practice session in Chevy Silverado’s at The Milwaukee Mile which is a nice long oval track.

Meet a nice US guy called Jeff Broome, who gave me lot of good pointers or when to turn in and a very useful setup.

I started on 30.9s, then after some help got down to 29.7s!

Did a race after all this, and had some improvements.

I still had 12 incidents in the race but I still managed to increase my SR by 0.03, to now a nice 3.48 SR.  A nice +20 irating increase too.

I did lead 8 laps when everyone pitted lol. With a massive 120 lap race,  I managed to complete 127 laps out of 130 on lead lap.

So think this is a great improvement over any previous races I had ever in the ovals!

Time Trailing in Roads and Ovals to get SR over MPR

This week, I decided since im borderline of going from 3SR – 4SR in road, I do some time trials, also same in ovals as I need over 3SR for promotion next season which I was on 2.89 ish.

Lets just say I finished on 4.44 on roads and 3.44 on Ovals this was enough for promtion next season as long as I keep what I got. I also found that once you hit around 3.9 ish SR in both series and do well, you get big jump into the 4 SR’s.

The good thing now was on Roads, as I was over 4SR I could use the Riley DP, which I purchased some time ago when I was over 4 SR before.

What also made it better was it was Silverstone next week too!
